Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking a Laboratory Technologist who will perform complex laboratory testing and also assist with Non-Cert PCA duties to support patient care. This role involves direct patient interaction, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and helping with patient flow in a dynamic clinic setting.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 7–11 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the laboratory and equipment for daily operations, including starting equipment, computers, and gathering chemicals and reagents.
• Collect and receive patient specimens.
• Accurately document, enter, and maintain laboratory test results in computer systems and logs.
• Perform Non-Certified Patient Care Assistant (PCA) duties as needed, including rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, and assisting with patient flow.
