Hours: M-F 8:00am-4:00pm
Objective / Purpose
Run various tests for different types of rubber while following prescribed methods and utilize equipment as directed.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
- Run daily/monthly controls for all equipment.
- Run all tests required, according to work instruction/lab specification.
- Write non-conforming ticket, attach ticket to proper unit and advise Team Leader of all out-of-spec material as soon as possible.
- Weigh up, mix and test lab batches.
- Inspect, select and test in-bound feedstock.
- Input, export and update data accordingly.
- Update SPC files.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.
- Clean the lab and maintain a clean work environment.
- Maintain lab retains.
- Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct standards and be aware of the management policy and objectives.
- Other duties as assigned by the Quality/Technical Manager.
- Support production, when necessary, under the guidance of the Production Leader.
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
