HOURS: 12:00AM – 8:00AM (Train on First Shift 8:00am - 4:00pm)

Purpose Of Role

Efficiently and responsibly cut, bag, and stack feedstocks into appropriate sizes while minimizing scrap rubber trimmings, then run through a metal detector and remove contamination.

Essential Functions

• Operate all guillotine controls.
• Cut material to specified sizes/weights and identify groups as outlined on mixing instructions.
• Check the metal detector at the start of each shift and after lunch.
• Visually inspect all material for contamination during cutting and stacking.
• Neatly stack cut material with poly between layers to prevent sticking.
• Stack waste skids by size and stack cardboard for the baler.
• Ensure containers are cleaned and free of old tickets before use.
• Assist in cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and machinery.
• Report equipment issues to Maintenance and Team Leader.
• Follow PPE procedures and safety/environmental regulations.
• Apply RMA 7S standards and uphold the Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Forklift license is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must regularly stand and walk; frequently use hands and reach.
• Occasionally sit, talk, read, hear, or smell.
• Must lift/move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Vision requirements include close vision and depth perception.
• Occasional ladder climbing and stair navigation.
