Job summary

ALS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform a variety of tests including titrations, ICP analysis, and viscosity testing, while adhering to safety and quality guidelines. The role involves sample prep, instrument loading, and routine maintenance to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory testing methods such as titrations, ICP analysis, or viscosity testing.
• Ability to follow safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tasks are completed within time restraints and per quality and safety policies.
• Prepare and aliquot samples for required tests; load samples on validated automated instrumentation.
• Perform routine verification and calibration on equipment per method requirements.
• Carry out direct testing and wet chemistry analyses; calculate related indices.
• Perform sample preparation for multiple testing requirements and part of shift handovers.
