Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician in Shelbyville, KY to work in a climate-controlled lab environment. The role involves mixing chemicals under a fume hood for titration tests, pulling samples from CNC machines, and performing QA/QC tasks to ensure product quality.

Proficiency in Word/Excel and familiarity with ERP systems are beneficial. The position is contract-to-hire, onsite with a 2x2x3 schedule (5:30 AM–5:30 PM).

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in chemistry.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Mix chemicals for titration tests using a fume hood.
• Pull samples from CNC machines to bring to the lab for quality testing.
• Utilize ERP systems for data management and reporting.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks in the laboratory.
• Assist in filling schedule gaps when other lab technicians are unavailable.
