Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sample Processing Clerk / Lab Technician in Pittsburgh, PA to join the National IH Laboratory team. The role involves receiving and logging samples, maintaining LIMS records, and preparing reports in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with strong computer skills.
• Experience entering and maintaining data in electronic systems and using Office apps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sample and quality control preparation for analysis
• Receive and accurately log environmental samples into the LIMS
• Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation for traceability
• Preparation, review, and issuance of reports
• Enter, review, and verify data in laboratory databases and Microsoft Office
• Greet clients and assist with sample submissions
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
• Assist with inventory management and lab organization
• Support updates to laboratory procedures and work instructions
