Suzano Packaging LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform entry-level lab tasks spanning quality control, testing of reels, and equipment calibration. You will support multiple test methods, ensure data integrity, and contribute to a safe and organized lab environment.

The role emphasizes manual testing, document control, adherence to procedures, and ongoing learning under supervision to meet product quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and experienced employees.

• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
• Must have passed the qualification test for the Tech IV position.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor lab equipment and maintain test records.
• Perform standard tests (heat seal, dye/edge tests, tensile strength, brightness) on reel samples as part of quality control.
• Calibrate instruments and maintain calibration records.
• Keep the lab clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Conduct daily checks, maintenance, and sample handling with accuracy.
