Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a Quality Assurance professional in our Manufacturing department to conduct quality control inspections, verify ingredient and product information, and ensure FDA compliance and HACCP records.

The role involves sampling, temperature monitoring, documenting processes, and supporting teammates across plant functions to maintain product safety and consistency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and pass background checks.
• Experience with GMPs or quality systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections and verify ingredient/product information.
• Conduct operational and pre-operational inspections and ensure FDA compliance.
• Monitor temperatures, record data, and maintain traceability records.
• Collect, process, and retain samples for testing and report results.
• Audit and update plant reference books and document processes.
• Assist other teams in the Quality Control department as needed.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
