For NYS candidates, the pay range is $27.00-$28.85 per hour.

Work Schedule

Shift: 4:45 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for afternoon and overnight shifts as needed.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform sampling and testing of finished products and processing samples, including physical, biological, chemical, and organoleptic tests, to ensure specifications are met.
2. Maintain certification for Beta-Lactam antibiotic testing.
3. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and records.
4. Monitor and record vitamin usage, tank inventory, and verify product quality and safety measures.
5. Ensure sanitation and proper documentation of laboratory and production areas.
6. Train and supervise quality technicians to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
7. Perform other duties as directed by QA supervision and management.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Science preferred; Associates or 75+ credit hours towards a Bachelor's required.
2. Minimum one-year current position or manager approval to apply.
3. Good job performance and no active corrective actions.
4. Applicants may not bid on another position for 12 months after selection.

Additional Details

Flexibility required for shifts, potential exposure to environmental and chemical hazards, and physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds.
