Position Overview

Lab Technician (Mishra). Location: Raleigh, NC. Job Type: Temporary (3 days a week; 6 hours per day). Working Title: Lab Technician (Mishra). Anticipated Salary: $15.00 per hour.

Job Duties

Assist with behavioral recordings and quantification using DeepLabCut, perform RNA isolation, and run PCR for gene expression analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with DNA extraction, midi preparation, and the TANGO system
• Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (PCR, RT-qPCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA, RNA, and protein extraction, TANGO assay, cell culture)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
• Goal-oriented with a high level of motivation
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Accurate record‑keeping and data management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
