Job summary

Hexcel Corporation is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify adherence to specifications and quality requirements. The role supports Manufacturing and Quality through accurate testing, timely reporting, equipment upkeep, documentation, and continuous improvement.

This position is a 12-hour rotating shift, performed in a manufacturing laboratory.

Qualifications

• Three years of lab/manufacturing experience required.
• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree in chemistry, chemical technology, materials science, engineering technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, identify, and test laboratory samples per procedures.
• Perform routine physical and/or chemical testing using approved methods and instructions.
• Accurately record, review, and report laboratory results using logs and electronic systems.
• Communicate abnormal or nonconforming results to stakeholders.
• Support investigations related to manufacturing processes, materials, and product quality.
• Operate, clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
