Job summary

BlackRock Resources, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support product quality and manufacturing through hands-on testing, sample preparation, and accurate documentation in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires laboratory experience or education, familiarity with lab equipment, and the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts. This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position paying $23.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow in a stable operation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a science field preferred.
• Laboratory, quality, plant, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with lab equipment and testing procedures is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word and data systems.
• Strong math, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Reliability and safety-focused.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test process and finished-product samples.
• Perform wet chemistry and instrumental laboratory testing.
• Operate lab equipment such as pH meters, balances, and spectrophotometers.
• Record test results in computerized laboratory systems.
• Monitor production processes and communicate results or adjustments to Operations.
• Calibrate and perform light maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Maintain samples, testing records, and laboratory documentation.
• Help ensure equipment and testing systems are operating accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Follow FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and company safety and quality standards.
