Job summary

Molex in Auburn Hills, MI is hiring a Lab Technician III to assist in sample preparation for validation testing, train lab technicians, and improve testing procedures. You will set up and operate testing equipment and support quality systems.

You will also summarize test results, maintain testing notes, and participate in training to resolve testing issues, contributing to continuous improvement in lab operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of college-level training in a technical field or one or more years of laboratory testing experience.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for validation testing in accordance with standard methods and best practices
• Set up and operate standard and custom testing equipment
• Support applicable quality and environmental management systems by following approved policies and procedures
• Track work hours and maintain testing notes as instructed
• Summarize test results using Microsoft Excel and Word, review results with Test Engineers, and identify abnormalities or inconsistencies
• Assist with training laboratory technicians and resolving testing issues as needed
• Provide feedback to Senior Test Technicians and Test Engineers on opportunities to improve sample preparation and testing procedures
• Perform general testing and assist with measurement systems analysis for routine testing procedures
