Job summary

Veolia is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform chemical, biological, and physical tests for sample analysis, quality control, research, or development. You will assist in maintaining the laboratory, prepare reagents, and help with special studies in the lab and in the field.

The role requires basic wet chemistry, data compilation, and adherence to regulatory requirements. You will support quality assurance activities, assist in special projects, and ensure accurate reporting of test results

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, with at least one year of chemistry lab experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field preferred.
• Zero to two years in a similar lab environment with ability to use lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lab safety and report issues promptly.
• Log and prepare samples for analysis.
• Label and prepare laboratory samples and paperwork.
• Evaluate samples for compliance with guidelines.
• Perform wet chemistry techniques and basic instrument use.
• Record test results and maintain QC records.
• Ensure documentation of results and instrument maintenance.
• Report issues to supervisor and appropriate staff.
