Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to perform intermediate to advanced testing on crude oil, refined products, petrochemicals, and related samples, ensuring results meet customer and industry specifications. You will help develop and implement laboratory procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

You must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and proficient with laboratory instrumentation; this role requires compliance with safety protocols and coordination

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience or a related role within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of petroleum products, chemical analysis, and laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing standards such as ASTM, API, and ISO.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate and advanced laboratory tests and analyses on crude oil, refined petroleum, petrochemical products, and quality control samples.
• Review and interpret data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to cross-functional teams.
• Analyze and interpret test results to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Prepare samples and reagents for testing and ensure proper labeling, storage, and tracking.
• Enter test data into the company’s internal software system and ensure accurate records.
