Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Lab Technician 2 to join our team on a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. This role focuses on preserving, preparing, processing and maintaining lab samples across environmental, biological and chemical areas, with responsibilities to write reports and support customers.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma with three years of lab support experience; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years lab support experience.
• Associates degree preferred; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of lab support programs, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in computer applications and data management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lab for daily operations including stocking materials and cleanliness.
• Supports analytical testing by collecting and reviewing conditions and documenting results.
• Transports and maintains samples, documents, materials and other items.
• Disposes of laboratory materials following established guidelines.
• Troubleshoots and maintains basic lab equipment.
• Maintains logs, databases and related information with accuracy.
