Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a General Lab Support professional to manage pre-analytical processes and specimen handling throughout the lab lifecycle. You will help with inventory, reagent storage, and post-analytical tasks while engaging with clients to resolve inquiries.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and teamwork within a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. Strong communication with internal teams and customers is essential.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage pre-analytical processes across the lab specimen lifecycle (collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, archiving).
• Receive and store reagents in the facility and in LabVantage.
• Oversee inventory management and reagent stock levels.
• Handle post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts.
• Support laboratory maintenance as assigned.
• Interface with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests.
• Recommend changes to services, processes, and policies to improve pre-analytical efficiency.
• Ensure duties are performed in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.

Job Description

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
• Responsible for receiving and storing reagents both in the facility and in LabVantage
• Responsible for inventory management
• Responsible for post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts
• Contributes to laboratory maintenance, as assigned
• Interfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests
• Recommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficiencies
• Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Assists department as needed with routine operations
• Supports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
• In order to meet Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent
