Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking an entry-level Lab Support Technician in Centennial, Colorado. The role covers pre-analytical steps from collection to archiving, handling reagents, and supporting routine lab operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inventory management, sample tracking, and ensuring compliance with quality systems, SOPs, and documentation practices. This position offers full-time hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

• Manage pre-analytical processes in the lab lifecycle: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving.
• Receive and store reagents in the facility and in LabVantage.
• Maintain inventory and ensure accurate recordkeeping; support routine operations.
• Assist with post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts.

Job Description

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
• Responsible for receiving and storing reagents both in the facility and in LabVantage
• Responsible for inventory management
• Responsible for post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts
• Contributes to laboratory maintenance, as assigned
• Interfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests
• Recommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficiencies
• Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Assists department as needed with routine operations
• Supports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
• In order to meet Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training,good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.
