Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics in Centennial, CO is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support pre-analytical and post-analytical workflows in a busy lab. You will handle specimen collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking and archiving to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma, have 0–2 years of experience, and possess strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for pre-analytical processes: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, archiving.
• Responsible for receiving and storing reagents in the facility and LabVantage.
• Inventory management and post-analytical processes including sample disposition and archive sendouts.
• Interfaces with clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests, and adheres to SOPs.
• Supports quality management and regulatory compliance as part of the lab team.

Laboratory Technician I

• Responsible for pre-analytical processes within the life cycle of the laboratory specimen: collection, packaging, shipping, receiving, processing, tracking, and archiving
• Responsible for receiving and storing reagents both in the facility and in LabVantage
• Responsible for inventory management
• Responsible for post-analytical processes, including sample disposition and archive sendouts
• Contributes to laboratory maintenance, as assigned
• Interfaces with Eurofins DPT clients to resolve specimen inquiries and requests
• Recommends changes in services, processes, and policies that enhance pre-analytical efficiencies
• Performs duties in compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agencies.
• Assists department as needed with routine operations
• Supports Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethics
• In order to meet Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, all employees are expected to meet basic expectations of Eurofins DPT’s quality management system including, but not limited to good workmanship, adherence to standard operational procedures, training,good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 0 – 2 years of experience
• New to the clinical laboratory testing environment
• Strong Communication Skills and analytical skills

• This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins DPT’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.
