Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Memphis, TN is seeking a Lab Associate I to support laboratory operations on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This non-licensed role assists with general lab support following policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, labeling, data entry, and inventory management, with potential eligibility for annual bonus compensation based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Some College Courses (Two to three years preferred)
• Basic knowledge of operating non-complex equipment
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing.
• Labels, handles, processing or preparation, and storage of specimens.
• Assists licensed personnel or delegated supervisor in testing activities.
• Prepares reagents and records; maintains logs and stock.
• Maintains inventory of reagents and supplies.
• Performs data entry and reports workload data as requested.
• Ensures lab areas are neat, clean, and compliant.
• Answers phones and maintains confidentiality.
