Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Associate II in Memphis, TN to support laboratory operations Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This non-licensed role handles specimen preparation, labeling, storage, and data entry, supporting licensed personnel in pre-analytic and post-analytic tasks.

The position requires lab experience (1 year histopathology/cytology preferred) and strong MS Office skills, with a comprehensive benefits package and annual incentive potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Biological Science or Chemistry preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2-3 years laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize samples for testing, including racking, aliquoting and tube prep.
• Label, handle, process or transport specimens and maintain storage.
• Assist licensed personnel or supervisor in pre- and post-analytic activities in a licensed lab.
• Assist with preparation of reagents, controls and records; maintain inventory and logs.
• Train other Lab Associates and support training programs.
