Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our Louisville, KY team. The role involves performing analytical testing on incoming samples, recording data, and ensuring turnaround times are met. You will adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 and company quality systems.

Essential duties include sample registration, performing tests, entering data, and maintaining a clean, safe lab environment. AS/BS in microbiology or related field and experience with plating and plate reading are

Qualifications

• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Ability to follow SOPs and quality procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document laboratory tests on incoming samples.
• Enter data into ELIMS system accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Identify non-conformances and report to supervisor with solutions.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
