Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in Edison, NJ is hiring a Laboratory Technician for a Mon-Fri, 12:00pm–8:30pm shift. This entry-level position supports routine sample preparation, analysis, and record-keeping in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with the potential to grow as you learn our QA processes.

The role requires a high school diploma (chemistry preferred) and the ability to work independently, lift up to 50 lbs, and learn our LIMS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; samples will be in coolers on ice.
• Work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performing sample preparation methods (spike, concentrate, etc.).
• Prepare reagents and bottle samples.
• Prepare concentrations, separations, and digestions with acids.
• Learn Eurofins LIMS and Mercury Analysis.
• Record results and manage lab paperwork.
