Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is hiring a full-time laboratory technician in Dayton, NJ. The role performs basic lab techniques, maintains equipment, prepares glassware, and handles receipt of consumables in a clean, organized environment.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the day, and ability to push/pull heavy objects. It includes working with animals and handling sanitation chemicals, with schedule Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and a $20/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma, must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds, must be able to stand of your feet for a majority of the day, must be able to push and pull heavy objects.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory techniques.
• Maintain/calibrate equipment
• Prepare/wash glassware
• Receipt of consumables and lab stocking
• Clean and maintain lab spaces and other duties as assigned.
• Working with animals
• Work with a variety of chemicals for sanitation of lab equipment
• Assessing racks thoroughly during sanitation process for any maintenance required
