Location: Troy, OH

Hourly Rate: $18-20/hour

The Technician I is responsible for supporting development activities related to both prototype part builds and product testing. This includes setting up and conducting tests for static strength, stress, durability, and corrosion of vehicle components. The Technician I will also be involved in preparing and configuring vehicle parts and jigs for testing, which may involve fabricating or modifying parts and test fixtures to meet testing requirements. Collaboration with other technicians and engineers is essential to ensure the successful production of prototype parts, execution of tests, and achievement of project milestones. The Technician I may be assigned to multiple projects and work within cross-functional teams while adhering to established quality standards and procedures.

Skill Requirements:

• Testing experience or knowledge.
• Basic automotive knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Welding, manufacturing, or quality experience.

Education Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Materials, or related field.
