Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Rosemont, IL, to support life-saving mission and operate in the laboratory. The role focuses on maintaining data records, component preparation, labeling, and strict adherence to quality standards.

Training is provided, with a shift pattern including evenings and weekends. Base wage is hourly with differential potential, and the company offers comprehensive benefits to support employees and families.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• No experience required.
• Shift 2 schedule noted (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Label routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
