Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Assistant to perform routine lab tasks and support sample preparation and inventory activities. The role supports ongoing quality and safety in analytical environments.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and the ability to work in the US without sponsorship. You will join a team focused on accuracy, organization, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform miscellaneous tasks in the lab including cleaning, ordering, discarding of solutions, organizing supplies, and retrieving and returning samples from sample storage.
• Learn to perform monthly maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples for analysis and monitor instrumentation with minimum supervision; instrumentation will be cleaned and stored after use.
• Assist with inventory processes within the group.
• Perform a variety of organizational tasks to aid daily laboratory functionality.
• Perform laboratory cleaning responsibilities of equipment and controlled rooms.
• Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform responsibilities accurately.
• Support special projects as directed.

Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

• Learn to perform monthly maintenance on both laboratory equipment
• Prepare samples for analysis and monitor some instrumentation with minimum supervision including. Instrumentation will also be cleaned and stored appropriately after use
• Assist with Inventory process within the group
• Perform a variety of organizational tasks to aide in the everyday functionality of the laboratory
• Perform laboratory cleaning responsibilities of equipment and controlled rooms
• Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform responsibilities accurately
• Special projects as necessary/as directed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Ability to work in the US Indefinitelywithoutsponsorship

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Previous laboratory experience
• Metals testing and clean lab experience
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, M-F 8am-5pm OR Second Shift M-F 3-11pm.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PAare encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given.25% travel may be required. This position isNOTremote.
