Job Description Summary

As a member of the Coatings Additives Business Line’s Applied Research & Technology organization, this position conducts testing to support business growth through technical service, product positioning, and development of new products meeting market and customer needs.

Responsibilities

1. Plan experiments and activities based on established goals. Conduct literature searches related to projects.
2. Perform laboratory experiments, document results, and prepare technical reports for review.
3. Complete safety training, conduct hazard reviews, and ensure regulatory compliance for all materials and processes.
4. Maintain lab facilities, chemical inventories, and equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
5. Supervise or train laboratory personnel in testing methods and procedures.

Requirements

Education: Engineering degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Chemical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in the printing inks or coatings industry.

Experience: Experience in the printing ink industry is preferred. Strong practical laboratory skills and commitment to safety and environmental standards are required.

Skills: Ability to work with diverse teams globally, apply scientific principles to testing, collaborate effectively, and manage projects efficiently.
