Job summary

Maxonic is seeking a Lab Technician (Bottling / Filling) to support our client’s Form, Fill, and Finish group onsite in San Diego, CA. The role involves processing product formulations, dispensing antibody products, capping, labeling, completing batch records, and placing finished goods into inventory.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of lab or biotech manufacturing experience, including pipetting or dispensing liquid products, and a collaborative mindset to work across Planning,

Qualifications

• 6 months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing environment.
• Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products.

Responsibilities

• Assist bottling tasks including dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits.
• Formulate products per SOPs and work instructions including multi-component cocktail formulations.
• Verify formulation worksheets for concentrations and lot numbers.
• Put away finished goods according to temperature conditions.
• Use Excel and other computer programs; prepare equipment for operations.
• Operate filling lines, lyophilizers, capping and labeling equipment; follow safety guidelines.

Description

• The client is looking for a Bottling Technician II for our Form, Fill, and Finish Group.
• This role will be responsible for processing product formulations, dispensing antibody products, capping, labeling, kitting and completing batch records, and putting away Finished Good Inventory (FGI).
• This is a within the Bottling Department as well as other departments such as Planning, Receiving, Inventory Control, Custom Solution Team (CST), Packaging and Quality Control groups.highly team oriented group which involves working closely with other core teams

Essential Functions

• Assist in performing various bottling related tasks to include dispensing antibody solutions, capping and labeling of vials, tubes or bottles, and assembly of kits
• Formulate products per approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions including multi-component cocktail formulations
• Verify formulation worksheets to ensure that information such as concentrations, lot numbers etc. are correct
• Put away finished goods products according to their designated temperature conditions
• Use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel
• Set-up and prepare equipment for ongoing operations
• Operate computer-controlled process support/process equipment (i.e., filling line, lyophilizer, capping, labeling machine, etc.)
• Follow instructions for completion of job tasks
• Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health/safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain work area and all lab equipment and supplies
• May perform data entry and production documentation completion tasks
• Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Skills

• Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
• >6 months of relevant experience in a laboratory and/or biotech manufacturing and/or filling/bottling/packaging working environment and/or BS in related field
• >6 months Experience in pipetting or dispensing liquid products

Education

• Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
• >6 months of experience with automatic filling machines
• Aseptic Technique in biosafety cabinet
• Demonstrated high levels of teamwork, quality, and productivity
