Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure cleanliness of multiple laboratories within the Advanced Technology Team. You will create and maintain inventory lists, and perform routine maintenance on processing, analytical, and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities include organizing, cataloging, and shipping product and fragrance oil standards, while generating purchase orders for supplies. 0–2 years’ lab experience and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years’ hands-on laboratory experience.
  • Associate’s degree in chemistry, biology or related field.
  • Experience in cosmetics/fragrance industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of multiple laboratories in the Advanced Technology Team.
  • Create and maintain inventory lists to stay compliant with standards.
  • Daily, Weekly, and Monthly lab maintenance of equipment.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and generate purchase orders.
  • Organize, catalog, and ship product and fragrance oil standards.

Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
