Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
  • GMP experience is a plus.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves operating specialized equipment to produce products that meet market demands. The ideal candidate will have a background in laboratory operations, equipment handling, and product formulation, ensuring that all processes adhere to regulatory standards.

Role Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of the Lab Manager to achieve project objectives.
  • Conduct multi-step synthesis and optimization through effective reaction planning, effective reagent selection, and systematic analysis.
  • Purification of organic compounds using a variety of techniques including extraction, distillation, crystallization, trituration, etc.
  • Work independently to solve problems through careful experimental design, data analysis, and mechanistic insight.
  • Independently design reaction conditions to execute and optimize synthetic routes.
  • Interpret and summarize experimental results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Have excellent oral communication skills with a strong ability to communicate scientific results at team discussions. Have excellent written communication skills through clear, concise reporting and by maintaining high quality, accurate electronic scientific notebook records.
  • Participate as a team worker by helping the team to work effectively and coherently by supporting personal relationships and shared goals.
  • Regularly sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the grow facility to ensure sanitary practices.
  • Abide by high personal hygiene standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Energetic and willing to take direction and learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and machinery related to product production.
  • Comply with state regulations and guidelines.
Education and Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a background check required.
  • GMP experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk around the laboratory or production areas.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, which may include transporting materials and equipment.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, such as gloves, goggles, and lab coats, as required.
