Job summary

Yoh is hiring a Lab Technician for the 2nd shift in Newark, DE on a contract basis. You will support cleanroom operations, assist scientists in polishing trials, and handle lab setup, maintenance, and waste disposal.

Responsibilities include operating SEM, AFM, and film thickness tools, recording data in LIMS, and providing first-line troubleshooting for electropneumatic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to wear PPE and protective equipment.
• Experience working in a class 10 cleanroom environment and wearing a cleanroom suit.

Responsibilities

• Support cleanroom operations for electronic material polishing trials.
• Set up experiments, maintain lab housekeeping, and manage hazardous waste disposal.
• Operate metrology tools such as SEM, AFM, and film thickness instruments.
• Record test data in LIMS and communicate with trial owners.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and maintenance of electropneumatic equipment.

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) & quality protective equipment
• Ability to work in a class 10 cleanroom environment and comfortable wearing a cleanroom suit
• Paying $25 to $29 per hour; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support clean room operations to facilitate electronic material polishing trials from a team of scientists and engineers
• Experimental set up and tear town, lab housekeeping, and hazardous waste disposal
• Operation of metrology such as SEM, AFM, film thickness tools
• Record test information in LIMS system and communicate with trial owners.
• First level troubleshooting and maintenance of electropneumatic equipment.
