Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, IN is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to support blood collection and laboratory workflows, including loading analyzers and manual programming.

You will perform waived and moderately complex tests, communicate critical values to nurses and providers, and ensure a positive patient experience during specimen collection.

The role requires accuracy, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt to variable hours and offsite locations.

Expanded duties include setting up molecular tests, plating cultures, kit tests, loading analyzers in Blood Bank and Microbiology, manually program analyzers prior to loading samples and calling critical values to the nursing staff/providers. Must be a skilled phlebotomist to assist in blood collections as needed.

• Requires accurate color perception
• Capable of consistent, independent judgement under fluctuating workload pressure
• May involve variable work hours and weekend/holiday rotation
• Accountable to section supervisors, lead techs and technologists for work performed in different areas
• Performs other duties as assigned
