Job summary

Accutrans is seeking a dedicated laboratory staff member for their Pasadena, TX location. This role requires managing lab inventory and ensuring compliance with API and ASTM standards while conducting essential analytical tasks.

The ideal candidate will maintain communication with operations staff and oversee the quality assurance process for laboratory equipment. Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of API, ASTM standards, and client analytical requirements.

Position Expectations

• Serves as the primary staff member for the Pt. Comfort or Lake Charles laboratory, with travel to other ACA offices or client sites as needed
• Maintains and manages all inventory requirements for the local laboratory
• Maintains regular communication with laboratory and operations staff to support client analytical requirements
• Conducts all analytical assignments in accordance with API, ASTM, client, and ACA standards
• Oversees the condition, maintenance, SQC, and calibration records of all laboratory equipment
• Maintains all required QA/QC records for local equipment and testing procedures
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management
