Job summary

Paycom in Pasadena, TX seeks a Lab Technician Trainee to support operations at the Pt. Comfort or Lake Charles laboratory. The role involves travel to ACA offices as needed and maintaining inventory for the local lab.

You will perform analytical tasks in accordance with API, ASTM, and ACA standards while keeping calibration, QA/QC, and equipment maintenance records up to date. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary staff member for the Pt. Comfort or Lake Charles laboratory, with travel to other ACA offices or client sites as needed.
• Maintains and manages all inventory requirements for the local laboratory.
• Maintains regular communication with laboratory and operations staff to support client analytical requirements.
• Conducts all analytical assignments in accordance with API, ASTM, client, and ACA standards.
• Oversees the condition, maintenance, SQC, and calibration records of all laboratory equipment.
• Maintains all required QA/QC records for local equipment and testing procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management
