Actalent in Louisville, KY is seeking a Lab Technician to work nights on a contract-to-hire basis. You will mix chemicals under a fume hood, pull samples from CNC for quality testing, and enter data in ERP systems. Proficiency with Word and Excel is required, and you will contribute to QA/QC processes and documentation on a noisy manufacturing floor.

This onsite role offers hands-on lab work, a fast-paced environment, and training on first shift before transitioning to night shifts.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician will work with a fume hood to mix chemicals for titration tests and will pull samples from the CNC machine to test for quality in the lab. The role requires handling of ERP systems and proficiency in Word and Excel.

• Experience with chemical mixing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and work night shifts.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a hot, dirty, and loud manufacturing floor where samples are collected, and a climate-controlled, clean lab. The position requires working night shifts from 5 PM to 5 AM, three to four days a week, with training on the first shift for a few weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
