Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and written instructions precisely and adhere strictly to all laboratory protocols and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized laboratory environment.
• Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested.
• Determining and performing tests needed for the analysis and report.
• Recording tests and analyses and then reporting the results.
• Discussing and answering any questions regarding testing data.
• Organizing and storing samples according to all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample.
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including recalibration of equipment.
• Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs.
• Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field
• Reporting any non-conformities to department Supervisor or upper management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working within a lab setting.
• Chemicals and manufacturing background heavily preferred.
• Proficiency in using lab pH meters, ovens, microscopes, and basic chemical analysis tools.
