Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician in Conshohocken, PA to perform bench-scale polymerization testing, catalyst activation, and ethylene polymerization. The role requires handling air-sensitive materials in glove box environments and preparing silica supports and catalysts.

The position is contract-to-hire, onsite with a 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with eligibility for various benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry.
• Experience in laboratory and chemical handling.
• Associates Degree in Science with 2 years of hands-on industrial lab experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Materials Science.
• Experience performing laboratory procedures.
• Experience working in a Research and Development lab.

Work Environment

You will work in the Polyolefins R&D Lab, spending your time independently as well as collaborating with a team of 5. The work schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
