Job summary

Scientific Search in Camden, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Technician to establish and maintain cell-line materials and support the delivery of quality specimens for biomedical research. You will perform cell line establishment, cryopreservation, viability assessments, and SOP-guided documentation to ensure accurate sample handling for clients.

Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Cell/Molecular Biology, or related field is preferred; strong sterile technique and attention to detail are essential,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell/Molecular Biology, or related field with laboratory training.
• Sterile technique and standard laboratory procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Comfortable using laboratory equipment and information systems.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Establish cell lines from blood and biopsy specimens.
• Freeze, recover, maintain, and evaluate cultured cells.
• Calculate cell viability and population doublings.
• Prepare samples for QC and fulfill customer requests.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and follow SOPs.

Laboratory Technician
Location: Camden, NJ area
Contract position
Pay: $22/HR
Build and preserve the biological materials that power meaningful biomedical research. My client is seeking a hands-on laboratory professional to support cell-line production, preservation, quality, and reliable delivery of specimens used by the scientific community.
