Job summary

Catalynt Solutions, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support QC and manufacturing operations. This on-site role offers 20–40 hours per week, with standard hours 6:00am–2:30pm, reporting to the Chemist and Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year QC lab experience in the chemical industry, is comfortable handling chemicals and basic lab equipment, and can work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Benefits included.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Lab Technician to support our Quality Control and manufacturing operations. This position offers flexibility for either part‑time or full‑time employment, approximately 20–40 hours per week, depending on the candidate’s availability and experience. The ideal candidate has at least one year of quality control or laboratory experience, is comfortable working with chemicals and basic laboratory equipment, and can work accurately in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This position reports directly to the Chemist and Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Follow written test methods, SOPs, and safety procedures
• Proper chemical handling, PPE, and basic SDS knowledge
• Sample collection, preparation, weighing, and measurement
• Perform routine QC testing and accurately document results
• Basic equipment calibration and verification
• Recognize and report unusual or out‑of‑specification results
• Maintain clean and organized laboratory equipment and work areas

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year QC lab experience in the chemical industry.
• Instrumentation Experience:
  • Experience with any or all of the following instruments is a plus.

  • Turbidity Meter
  • Gardner ColorBrookfield Viscometer
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Systems & Technology:
    • NetSuite (NS)
    • Microsoft Office Suite
