Job summary

Community Memorial Health System is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician in Ojai, CA. The role supports licensed laboratory personnel by performing requested clinical procedures and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a High School diploma or GED, a California Phlebotomy License (CPT) or MLT program credential, and BLS certification. A valid driver's license and insurability under CMHS are required.

Compensation

Salary Range: $25.42 - $33.06 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Assists licensed laboratory personnel in performing requested clinical procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school Diploma or equivalent General Education Degree (GED)
• Current California Phlebotomy License (CPT) or Graduate of a Medical Laboratory Technician Program (MLT)
• Current BLS certification
• Current Driving License
• Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMHS insurance coverages

Preferred:

• Minimum of six (6) months recent hospital experience
