Job summary

Intellectt INC in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Confirmations Tech II to join our analytical lab. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or analytical chemistry and hands-on experience with lab instrumentation.

You will read SOPs, process GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data, generate reports, and help ensure accuracy and compliance. Safety and documentation are essential in daily tasks. This is a full-time role with potential for growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or analytical chemistry.
• At least one year of experience in an analytical lab.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow written SOPs.
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the sequence accuracy for each batch.
• Process instrument data and generate appropriate reports.
• Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification.
• Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation.
• Communication with supervisors and escalation of emerging challenges as needed.
• Maintain a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers.

Job description

Confirmations Tech II Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required. Previously lab experience preferred. What You'll Work On Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation Communication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challenges Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab. The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
