Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Lab Tech for a client in Ames, IA. As part of the Micro Department, you will support production and quality assurance teams in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn machine operations.

First shift hours are 6am to 3:20pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $20 per hour. This position offers hands-on experience with production equipment, exposure to quality control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of production experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to learn machine operations, including setup and changeover.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up straightforward equipment to produce quality products.
• Gather materials and maintain the quality of products produced according to department standards and specifications.
• Meet productivity standards and assist in ensuring all chemistries are made per schedule.
• Record and maintain quality or traceability information, including final product quality control.
• Comply with safety policies, including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, and proper storage of tools.
