Manpower is seeking a Lab Tech in Ames, IA to join the Micro Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. You will operate and set up equipment, collect materials, and ensure products meet standards under safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn machine operations, with strong reading, writing, and math skills for traceability records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Six months of production experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Good reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to learn machine operations, including setup and changeover.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up straightforward equipment to produce quality products according to build signals.
• Gather materials and maintain the quality of products produced according to department standards and specifications.
• Meet productivity standards and assist in ensuring all chemistries are made per schedule.
• Record and maintain quality or traceability information, including final product quality control.
• Comply with safety policies, including safe operation of equipment, PPE usage, and proper storage of tools.

Location: Ames, IA

Pay Range: $20.00 hour

Shift: First shift hours 6am-3:20pm, Monday through Friday
