Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience in hospital setting (3 months) including venipuncture for all ages.
• Basic PC skills; familiarity with networked environments and medical-clinical applications preferred.
• Available to work weekends on a rotational basis and holidays as needed.
• Available to work flexible hours (varied start times).
• May be scheduled to any El Camino Health location/drawstation depending on need.
• Available enterprise-wide and other shifts occasionally as needed for work assignments.
• California Phlebotomy Certification (CPT 1)

Responsibilities

• Process patient and specimen workflow to support the Laboratory's operations.
• Provide phlebotomy and/or clerical services for hospital inpatients, outpatients, physicians and staff.
• Provide professional, courteous, and competent service to clinicians and patients.
