Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• West Virginia PoC License required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (CPT) preferred.
• Six months of Phlebotomy, Lab Assistant or Cytopreparatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for basic diagnostic procedures.
• Operate laboratory equipment for basic testing and specimen processing.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for processing and testing.
• Perform quality control procedures to ensure reliability of reagents and equipment.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring timely test reporting.
• Communicate unusual supply usage or test results to supervisor.
• Complete clerical duties to support laboratory operations.
