Three Rivers Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) to support laboratory operations and specimen collection. This 15-week, on-site contract in Brewster, WA, includes 40 hours per week across four 10-hour day shifts, with no weekend rotations.

The ideal candidate holds a WA MA-P license, phlebotomy certification, and at least 2 years in inpatient hospital or high-volume clinical lab settings, performing venipuncture across ages and handling CPSI/Evident data

Qualificações

• WA MA-P license active at submission time
• Valid Phlebotomy certification/license/credential required
• Minimum 2 years in inpatient hospital lab or high-volume clinical lab
• Strong venipuncture and capillary collection experience
• Experience with patients across multiple age groups preferred
• Experience with automated laboratory analyzers and routine testing
• Familiarity with CPSI / Evident preferred
• Strong attention to detail and specimen handling and QA

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws across all ages.
• Collect, label, process, and transport specimens per procedures.
• Assist with lab workflows involving blood, urine, and cultures.
• Set up, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed.
• Operate analyzers in areas such as Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis.
• Prepare and process specimens and slides for testing.
• Enter, document, and transmit results using CPSI / Evident.
• Follow lab procedures, safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records and specimen integrity.
