Responsibilities include data entry, QA participation, and maintaining a clean work area while delivering compassionate patient care. The position requires a high school diploma and phlebotomy training; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with biology, chemistry and mathematics coursework.
• Completion of accredited phlebotomy or laboratory courses.
• No certification required, but a department-approved cert may count toward experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy for routine duties.
• Perform waived laboratory tests (e.g., occult, gastric, urine tests).
• Process samples: accessioning, receiving, labeling; review laboratory activities.
• Operate automated pre-analytical instrumentation as needed.
• Enter patient and laboratory data into systems; assist with billing if required.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Process Improvement initiatives.
• Provide exceptional patient communication to staff and providers.
