Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division in Beaver, PA is seeking a Lab Technician II to support our power lab. This on-site, day-shift role involves performing testing on Eaton and non-Eaton equipment for internal and external customers, with relocation assistance available.

You will conduct mechanical and electrical testing, assemble test setups, maintain lab equipment, track test requests, and ensure compliance with EHS and 5S.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Basic qualifications include electronics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and software aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical tests per UL, CSA, IEC and NEMA standards to support product development and sustaining testing.
• Record accurate test data on standardized forms for project engineers.
• Assist in repair and replacement of test fixtures and maintain an active fixtures list.
• Maintain 5S in the lab and support safety requirements.
• Work on multiple projects to increase lab efficiency and deliver on-time test results.
