Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking a Master Test Technician for the Beaver, PA location. This on-site role includes benefits from day one, with a salary range of $69,000 to $101,000 annually. No relocation or sponsorship is offered.

The role focuses on mechanical and electrical testing to support engineering, product development, sustainment, and certification goals. Responsibilities include lab maintenance, test setup assembly, data recording, test calibration, and adherence to EHS and 5S

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical and software aptitude is required.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various electrical tests in accordance with UL, CSA, IEC and NEMA standards for electrical distribution products, as required, to meet the product development and sustaining testing demands.
• Record accurate test data on standardized forms for delivery to the project engineer.
• Assist in the repair and replacement of test fixtures and maintain an active list of test fixtures on hand to meet the demands of the engineering department.
• Contribute to organizing and maintaining lab 5S environment to meet goals and to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of safety requirements.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time to increase the efficiency in the lab and provide engineering on time test results.
• Share knowledge with other technicians as necessary to improve technician pool’s core knowledge and capabilities.
• Complete additional assignments or tasks requested by manager.
• Conduct pre and post calibrations, run dielectric/thermal testing.
• Circuit configurations, and vibration testing.
